Pros

Salary/compensation was competitive w/ Pharma industry Strong brands which should drive the future of the company

Cons

Company is moving headquarters to Northern New Jersey, leaving SE PA employees to either move or leave the company. Significant layoffs across the globe at this company, with short sighted goal of decreasing expenses Many US R&D jobs moved to lower cost nations Benefits cost more and cover less than when the company was under J&J. Limited advancement opportunities for the majority of employees

Pros

Good people Decent work life balance Good pay

Cons

Chaotic No IT strategy - decisions are reactive, short-sighted, and disjointed Destabilized environment with constant shifts in org, budgets, and almost zero cross org planning and execution Massive tech debt Limited career growth with most opportunities in Low COL area Too much JNJ thinking without the JNJ org structure / money to support it

Pros

If your number one priority in life is pleasing shareholders, this is the job for you. Opportunity to observe schizophrenia as manifested through a C-Level group. Summit, New Jersey is the best location for your family to move to, regardless of where you currently live by choice. Do you like re-orgs? Kenvue has to be on the cutting edge for number of organizational changes that could possibly be made in any given amount of time. A supernatural effort to make change the constant by executive leadership.

Cons

You can get a glowing annual performance review and then get laid off two weeks later. "Don't worry about it," answers from VPs and Directors that translate into very much worrying about it when the exact thing that was asked about happens two months later (mandatory relocation). Being told you're laid off by someone who has also been laid off. Essentially a corporate representation of Sublime's, Garden Grove. If you're not familiar with the song, it culminates in a series of nonstop disappointments.
