Loved my customers - management needs work

Pros

Weekends and holidays off, decent pay for someone working their way through college, good work environment where co-workers lended a hand when needed.

Cons

Management wouldn't helped when needed, instead they would "encourage" you to solve your own problems. It sounds reasonable enough until you've spent half an hour trying to solve your own problem and you have a frustrated customer in front of you and 10 more in the line behind them.

Great Teams, Difficult Promotion

Pros

Key is made up of many great people who work together in great teams. The atmosphere in the workplace, for the most part, is enjoyable. Everyone is very helpful throughout the company. Even if they're not a direct supervisor, they'll be happy to help you, if you have questions.

Cons

Unless you're exceeding your expected goals and expectations, don't expect to get a raise or a promotion. Recently, a lot of management turnover was prompted by senior management's neglect in promoting experienced, seasoned employees, and instead, hiring from outside the company, even though there are many well-qualified people who want those positions within the corporation.

Pros

Good management, good team approach to banking, professional. Training was well organized. Allowed more freedom for our sales activities as long as we produced.

Cons

Hard to reach sales expectations even with 55+hr work weeks. Too many conference calls and meetings. A general oversight on my part was thinking that banking involved much more than just sales but in reality that is what retail banking is about...sales.
