Pros

Generous vacation time and 401k matching. Decent health benefits. Nice, modern work facilities. (I work in IT, so the next statements apply specifically to that) My department offers occasional work from home days. My manager is very flexible regarding working hours and time off and offers comp days if you excessive hours in one week.

Cons

Raises are only offered every 18 - 36 months. I hired in at 5 weeks vacation and management decided that was too generous compared to our peer companies and reduced it to 4 weeks (company wide...I wasn't singled out). I'll go back to 5 weeks when I have 5 years of service.

Pros

25 days PTO from day one, benefits, great company to get experience (but then move to a bigger company after a few years), co-workers are ok

Cons

Horrible pay, no job security, HR recruiters are horrible (never return e-mails or phone calls), Corp politics, some management have bad people skills, majority of employees have no drive (they stay in the same position for 10 to 20 years), known to not give raises (haven't had one since 2008 and it was only 3%), only way to receive a nice pay increase is to move from dept to dept
