Pros

The pay is decent, benefits are pretty good overall, although the health insurance is high deductible and a nightmare to administer. You'll spend a lot of time to get the benefits you are paying for.

Cons

They talk a good game about being a "relationship" bank, but unless that relationship involves all their products, it's not any better than the others. The focus is totally and completely on sales. Relationships take time to develop, but they want it all right away. Turnover is ridiculous and by design. The staffing model for branches leaves all employees harried and it is extremely difficult to get time off as a result. Leaders spend most of their time hiring replacements. During my time at Key, our branch had 150% turnover.

Pros

Great culture and "can do" attitude from leadership. There is a lot of room for bonus and it is nice to work where you are not micro managed.

Cons

Training is very limited and systems are archaic! You have to be willing to try and fail and ask your peers for help.

-Very professional -Every job has negative co-workers, but at Key Bank the number of motivated, hard working, and helpful employees greatly exceeds the number of bad co-workers. -Fellow co-workers are very helpful if you have questions management, as well as anyone who has a higher rank is willing to help you succeed and move up the ranks. -This company is very client oriented and takes great care of anyone who walks threw the door.

Cons

None! I know everyone has something they don't enjoy at their workplace, but at Key it doesn't feel like work. It feels like you're helping people and making a difference in the world no matter how small your role is.
