Pros

KeyBank has been known for a long time to have create culture, and at least within the walls of the office we work in, that is true. Great people, open to ideas, internal promotions, and open to teaching anyone about the ways of the business in servicing. Hybrid schedule, relaxed dress code.

Cons

Most, it not at all, of the roles within the servicing office could work remote full-time. We are in a hybrid work schedule with a lot of flexibility depending on the manager. I do believe that more flexibility should be given to employees on where and how they choose to work. Senior management and other upper management roles benefit from in-person because of the nature of the work they do. This is not the case for most of the employees, and should not be expected. Pay at Key is okay, not great. There are countless stories of employees leaving to go work for other servicing competitors and being paid $10's of thousands more.

The culture and how it’s executed is a primary reason to stay with the company.

Cons

The organization tends to undervalue their talent which requires them to continuously source for talent.
