Insane demand of 100+ emails a day with no organization from higher ups to achieve everything required. Either you had to figure out everything on your own or you failed. Also they eliminated my position with a few months of advanced notice so I could train 3 people taking over my job which seemed unorthodox. Was offered a position to stay on only on my last week of employment with them.

I expected to focus on helping clients reach their financial goals and providing tailored product solutions. In reality, the job has turned out to be mostly teller transactions and managing difficult interactions — often with unhoused or aggressive individuals, especially in a city like Seattle. It’s far from what I imagined. Advancement is heavily tied to meeting aggressive sales goals, and without hitting those targets, moving into a different role is nearly impossible. The role isn’t aligned with what I thought a career in banking would be.
