Pros

overtime pay of course a big plus expat colleagues are the best in the world

Cons

japanese culture (failing) to infiltrate through europe. Normally its the employee who influence the culture, but not at Keyence. Here you must be doing all in Japanese way. crazy rules: You cannot eat at your desk, but also cant eat in the kitchen unless its lunchtime The girls in HQ must switch off their personal phones during work day your team leader must micro-manager you because its the japanese approach. japanese mentaliteit that being late is not forgiven Top down management, you are worked like a machine part and then replaced cause you burn out. no work life balance when almost every other company offers flexibility and balance (shorter hours, work from home)
