Great job out of college, but salary and upper management attitudes tend to be lacking
Pros
Great benefits. Up to 8% matching 401K on a vesting schedule. A lot of PTO even in your first year. Fun culture with Tuesday candy cart, summer flex Fridays, week off during Christmas time (instead of bonuses). Great starting job for new college graduates. You get great advertising experience. Very young company. Average age is probably 25-30.
Cons
Below industry standard salary. Upper management tended to be slow to give praise for a job well done. The company recently laid off a handful of people to "right size", but the individuals they chose to layoff seemed unusual. They specifically targeted people who had been there for several years and generally had higher salaries regardless of if they did a good job or not. While they did try to move people to different positions before the layoffs, it wasn't specifically expressed to employees that they had to move or they would lose their job. This seemed unfair.
