Pros

I was onboarded during COVID lockdown - it was unbelievable that everyone at Keypath welcomed me with open arms and made me feel so valued. During the toughest restrictions in Melbourne, my peers were all checking in and supporting each other, but what was so impressive, was management. Our CEO encouraged everyone to think about their own wellbeing first, and managers all reinforced this by their constant support and flexibility.

Cons

We are growing quickly, and with dramatic growth always comes challenges.

Thanks for telling your story. One of the most amazing things I have seen is how Keypath hired and on-boarded new employees during lockdown. It is wonderful to hear that your experience was so positive. People speak about work/life balance, but we believe you need to prioritize life first. Thanks Steve

Pros

Nice Office Space and Facilities

Cons

Keypath at first is an extremely well presented company and comes across very professional and fast developing. Its not until you start working in the company that you get to know the true insight of Keypath. The Managers in the Admissions Team are extremely biased and have huge amounts of favouritism within their teams. There is a myriad of treatment from Admission Managers including them being rude, insulting, discriminatory, derogative and treats everyone like mud beneath! Should be reported to Fair Work urgently as the company don't do anything about it as they are their favourite managers as well as the fact that they do it when there's no other seniors around so they can't be pulled up. There are a number of staff that currently work within the Admissions and Enrolment Team that work their hardest to deliver on some extremely unrealistic targets, with very little support from management and staff. Staff go above and beyond in what they do an what they deliver, there are staff that are starting early or working late to improve the overall experience in the teams and the overall output yet continue to get treated like second class citizens against the favourites within the teams. There are some individuals in other teams who have been delivering the highest enrolments, delivering on new partners, creating an amazing culture within their team and I know that he constantly gets treated like garbage because the other girl who launched the partner has been there longer. He has been a huge help personally but I can see him constantly not getting recognised for everything he does! He is probably one of the best employees this company has had and will definitely be a huge loss if he left. There is an inherent bias and favouritism towards the females within the company where they are put on pedestals even when not delivering on targets or team support. The company advise that there is heaps of room for further growth and development and well as encourage you to work towards constant improvement. They give you the advice of Work like you are in the role you want to be and deliver yet as soon as you do that and show your ownership and work ethics you are knocked back saying that there’s a change in business plan or that are not required for these particular duties. You doing higher duties and work across multiple tasks that are not even within your role or employment and receive no recognition, no support, no encouragement. The turnover within the company is extremely high and the staff retention is not there for the fact of the treatment of staff. Appreciatively staff retention is a hard task in many businesses but this one is something that could be improved with a turnover of Admission Team Managers. You are constantly told day in and day out that your team is not performing, your team is not good enough, your team constantly has issues, your team needs to improve. Yet no one talks about the constant training you provide new starters, the contact exclusion you have from team socials or morale. If you get put on a training plan for not delivering on unseen targets your manager does not follow that training plan, they are meant to check in on you weekly and doesn’t check in then crushes you for not following your plan which is the check-ups. When you advise that your struggling with mental health issues or family issues you are instantly knocked back. When you are working towards a target you then get your leads re-assigned to other teammates because they are struggling and then you are told off for not hitting target. There is no support to improve. There are a number of current employees that are planning to leave due to the above.

Very sorry your experience was not positive. As everyone knows I am open to criticism and Keypath is not perfect. What I will say though is that we care about our employees and attempt to treat all as equals. While I won’t debate your feeling as that is yours... But, in my long history of running companies, Keypath stands above all in how we treat people. Again, not to say we haven’t made mistakes. I really hope your situation can resolved and wish you all the best. Steve.

Pros

The inclusive community this company strives on building is second to none. With various events and discussions held weekly, you do have a sense of culture and growth. The support I have been shown from all aspects of management and leaders are one that allows me as an individual to grow within my current role and achieve my targets, whether it be on a personal or professional level. This then reflects on the work ethic and the rapport I build with our students!

Cons

Targets are always a challenging aspect of the role however, this isn't a reflection of the company but more so one that all employees will always strive to improve.

Really appreciate the kind words. As I have mentioned, diversity of our people brings real diversity of thought. That is one of the most important aspects to our success. Thanks again. Steve.
