Pros

Management is transparent in letting you know that you are not required. Management will ask you or encourage you to put down your papers, even when you have no intentions of leaving. Office location is close to public transport.

Cons

New management in student success team wants to get rid of the old staff. All they want to do is lead existing staff out of the door by unreasonably putting them on performance plans or making them feel incredibly under valued, and play favourites just to make them feel excluded in every way possible. They demotivate and bully staff to such an extent, that they either want to leave or call fair works to sort out the matter. The Management style has changed to micromanagement and there is no more workplace flexibility. Career progression is also slow in the company. No doubt the company is growing and there will be more opportunities; however in most cases existing employees are not encouraged to apply for these jobs. I would advise prospective employees to stay a mile away. Kpi's change on the managers whim, on a weekly basis, sometimes even daily. Salary is below average when compared to similar roles elsewhere.

Keypath Education Response

I am very sorry your experience was not great. We have been very fortunate to have a positive culture but sounds like it did not work for you. Sounds like you were in Student services and I do understand that department has gone through a lot of change recently. With all that being said we wanted to improve our results and unfortunately change is hard on all parties. I have said many times we are not perfect and make mistakes, but from what I hear and see we have so much more good than bad in the Australia office. I get emails on a regular basis about the positive culture and how excited folks are about the future. Again I never want one bad experience and we will evaluate your comments to keep getting better. Good luck to you Steve Global CEO

What I wanted to tell them while I was there

Pros

My coworkers - I made a lot of great friends. There is a good 401(k) match, and good PTO offerings. I really enjoyed it as an advertising newbie but the flaws outweighed the good eventually.

Cons

Communication. Time Management. Billable Time. Expectation-Setting. See below for elaboration on these. I think, based on the other reviews here, that it goes without saying the pay is a joke.

So Many Reasons for High Turnover

Pros

This is a company where you will find many friends amongst coworkers, wear casual clothing, and is a place that many people get their first job.

Cons

After your first year or two, many feel underpaid, under appreciated, and frustrated with management. Salaries are below industry standard, in some cases by a wide margin. Simply excelling in a position is, in many departments, not sufficient. Those whose careers thrive at the company are pretty few. These people tend to not necessarily be hard workers or team players but rather those who were willing to throw others under the bus to get ahead.
