      Pros

      Good pay Lots of perks (standard in the **** hotel industry though) Corporate managers seem really plugged in to whats going on

      Cons

      Lack of accountability, especially for lower level employees Middle managers are inexperienced and ineffective

      Pros

      Kimpton hotels are all different but the people are usually very nice. The company is very progressive and you can be yourself working there.

      Lack of accountability for poor performance in management in many areas Staff levels are kept low and younger and lower employees are often doing multiple jobs Wages could be better

      age is not a factor, it is easy to climb the ladder at a young age rather than paying your dues 10 years before receiving a promotion

      Cons

      as usual with the hotel industry, the hours make having a family difficult
