Always expect the unexpected

Pros

Leaving was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. I had the best managers I could ever ask for during my time at Kin. Great people, you will make lifelong friendships and professional relationships at this company. I achieved expediential professional growth working for Kin Insurance. You learn how to adapt to modifications quickly. This is not a great place for anyone who doesn't like frequent change. I loved my job here very much, but I was beginning to miss the 2020 and 2021 culture. It was a "One team, one dream" type of environment back then.

Cons

- constant fear of the unknown - had to leave due to change in pay

Pros

There are some nice people at Kin.

Cons

The business model does not work. I find it hard to believe that Kin will ever become profitable as a result. The work environment is quite toxic and "Managers" are overworked and as a result, literally don't respond when you reach out to them. The training is a train wreck. You are given so much to learn in back-to-back sessions, that it's literally impossible to retain because it's tremendous information overload. The trainers are snarky and seem exasperated that you can't possibly learn everything. I passed my licensing exams on the first try, however because the training is so extensive - with none of it being "actionable" in real time, it was impossible to have the needed information to pass onto the customer. The toxicity of management is palpable. It's a churn & burn culture and I feel sorry for people who have to work there and so glad after six months I realized it was all smoke & mirrors and found a good job.

Newer company so embrace change. Working from home can be challenging for some.
