Pros

Kindering has a great work environment and employees who truly care about helping children and making a real difference. The benefits are also good.

Cons

The pay is not great. It’s not competitive to market.

Pros

Good pay, flexible schedule, hybrid positions available

Cons

Unsure if all positions are trained in the same way but I was working at Kindering for a little over 95 days and their training schedule was odd. I was minimally trained by my supervisor and was forced to rely on their “skill development plan” that supposedly included every detail that was needed for the job’s responsibilities. This was proven wrong as they are just now updating the processes notes, due to missing key information for various processes related to the position. Along with this, I was made to feel like a burden for asking questions during my training period, which seems unreasonable especially considering I was someone who had just started with the company. My supervisor also made me feel singled out quite often with their actions during my short tenure with Kindering. There is also a lack of accountability for other employees when they had made mistakes on their end. This became quite evident when my counterpart, who was also a recent hire, was making the same mistakes and had not been reprimanded as much as or as harshly as I was; which gave the impression of favoritism in the workplace as well as effectively demoralizing me. For a company that values acceptance and support for all, I can confidently say that I received the opposite. My supervisor clearly lacked empathy towards my discussed difficulties and hardships, even when having met with human resources multiple times. I would not recommend Kindering to anyone near and dear to me as I would never want them to be subjected to the same amount of pure stress and anxiety I had to endure during my short time with this company.
