      Pros

      This organization truly cares about its employees and the impact it has on its community! Working here has been so good for my mental and physical health. The flexibility and transparency is incredible and I feel like my working is really making a difference in the lives of the people in our community.

      Cons

      Pay is lower than I’d like and we only get paid on a monthly basis, so finances can be tricky. However, the CEO and other leadership is extremely communicative about what they are doing to make sure their employees get the pay they need and listen to our feedback.

      Pros

      -SUPER flexible hours! If for any reason I had to flex my time, my manager was super easy to work with. -AMAZING company values! There is a strong push to move towards autism acceptance and using neurodiverse affirming language and practices (e.g., saying "characteristics" instead of "red flags"). -GREAT experience working directly undering a special educator, occupational therapist, and speech therapist!

      Cons

      The pay was a little low compared to what paraeducators make in the local school districts.
