      Pros

      Flexible schedules that you create yourself. Amazing, knowledge team members and people who truly want to improve other families lives.

      Cons

      Total lack of communication from the top, high caseloads, low pay, consistently work beyond paid hours, and no ability to advance within in the company. Management makes decisions without understanding the impact of those doing the work.

      Pros

      Flexibility, amazing co-workers, excellent mission statement, great need for the community.

      Cons

      Poor pay, minimal benefits, minimal reward for many years of service, small and infrequent pay raises. business/money bottom line thinking, high turn over which is stressful on teams and staff who stay, very clear hierarchy that rewards the highly educator, privileged, high socioeconomic status staff over staff of color and/or lower income status, minimal support for continuing education.

      Pros

      They have a really great mission and you feel like you are actually making a difference every day. Co-workers are super supportive and there is a lot of flexibility.

      Cons

      There is a lot of autonomy and independence, so if you need more supervision or are not used to working independently and making your own decisions, this might not be your place.
