Not Kite Pharma, This is Cell Design Labs

Pros

The snacks and a coast position, if you do your job and collect a paycheck you will thrive.

Cons

Local upper management is non-existent, the company is an acquisition site by the name of Cell Design Labs. Pre-acquisition mentally is very strong and upper management doesn't care about people at this site, if you weren't part of CDL, tough. This site has been in existence for 5 years with no IND and no phase 1 clinical. All the data generated is the same day in and day out, there is a large superiority complex regarding this site and the "mess" that is Santa Monica, this mentality is led by the upper management. We also had two people travel internationally and return to work during the beginning of COVID19 with no quarantine.

Management approachable and open to change Great office location in Silicon Beach Free parking Casual new offices with social atmosphere

Cons

- There's so much to be done but not enough staff to make it happen causing overworked staff & job role overlap - So many new employees it's difficult to learn who does what - With such long hours and so much work to be done they need to support telecommuting more.
