Amazing Company to work for

The company has a start up mentality. Lot of work and that is expected for any start up. However. the returns are amazing. The working teams are always brain storming and everyone is open to new ideas and supportive of team member's points of view. One very prominent vibe in this company is that it is all about the patient and the employees that work for making products for the patients. The company is very inclusive but not very overtly political knowing the current circumstances. Everyone is open, friendly and personal interests are supported. The managers are very intune to their employee's work-life balance. The interview process are very thorough and HR is very responsive. I would recommend this company for anyone who has interest in the the new Biotechnology , especially cell therapy

the commute was the only downside but now working from home and being equally productive

Energetic startup/entrepreneurial culture with established company support (being part of Gilead) and excellent benefits. Leadership does a good job ensuring employees are "focused on the cure."

Cons

Still dealing with old regime vs new regime since Gilead acquisition, but that is to be expected..

Pros

Kite hires those with true passion for the work they do. The culture is inclusive, promoting learning and compassion. Make no mistake, you will work hard. We are here to save lives and that takes serious effort. The company looks for the cream of the crop and my peers are SMEs in their respective roles. If you're here it is because you have earned it. The perks are very good as well.

Cons

Not many. Conversion from a startup to a commercial pharmaceutical manufacturer has been challenging as some are reluctant to change.
