      Pros

      New global manager has started to make his (positive) mark on the culture of the organization and this is permeating through the rest of the business. Wide variety of projects attracts a great bunch of talented individuals Despite some recent issues with staff turnover, there are several employees from all levels who have been here for 5 years +, many of whom have come up through the ranks Opportunities for exposure to international projects

      Cons

      No major cons - staff retention issues are being addressed and the "vibe" is definitely a lot more positive than it was even just a year ago.

      Pros

      Kleinfelder encourages diversity in the workplace. The company is fairly transparent with the employee owners, and has established a very simple yet effect method for employees of any level to ask questions of, and be answered by, the Leadership team.

      Best team I have worked with in many years

      Pros

      I have worked for the Federal Government (EPA), Local Government (Port of Oakland) large (AECOM) and small (H&A) firms, but Kleinfelder is the best mix of management that listens, employees that work as a team and a desire to build the business and grow as a company and as individuals. There has been some major changes in management and I can't say much about the way things were, but my experience is that management listens and cares about the employees. There is a lot of opportunity and if you have an idea about using new technology, or pursuing new markets or anything that improves service to our clients, you can find an ear. And as far as staff goes, everyone I have worked with has been collaborative and technically excellent. All in all, it has been a great work environment. Two BIG thumbs up!

      Cons

      Kleinfelder is a medium sized company and utilization tends to be high. That makes it a bit difficult to expand into new areas. Teams tend to be focused on the issue at hand.
