Pros

When I first came on board I was given scope of work and responsibilities for the compensation I was receiving.

Cons

I worked so effectively they fired someone else and pushed all his work and responsibilities onto me, without a thought of compensating me for the extra work load. Classic bait and switch employment. Very cut-throat environment.

Pros

Positive shift in culture in the last couple of years, lots of new faces and new ideas. Management listens to your ideas and lets you run with them. Supportive upper management and great opportunities to learn from local subject matter experts. Many new projects in the pipeline over the next couple of years. Good safety culture that is genuinely concerned about the well being of the employees.

Cons

Office looks ragtag, which is common in this industry, but we are preparing to move to a new office in the spring which will improve things.
