Pros

Great onboarding process and culture for non-managers.

Cons

You can see that most of the recent high reviews are from employees who have been here within the last 6 months from the onboarding process. KnowBe4 has a wonderful training program for new hires to give them promise, after that things get a little fuzzy. I know the organization pushes us to make positive reviews, especially as a new hire from not only seeing a good onboarding program, but once you are “on the floor”, things are much different. It would be a great company to work for if they gave an annual pay raise for tenured employees, didn’t give false promises, and didn’t talk to Customer Success Managers pay in relation to the industry. If you are not an Enterprise Customer Success Manager, expect having a book of customers over 200 accounts, all of which will have 1-5 highly technical products you are expected to manage. It’s not the “industry norm” based on what they tell you and the pay on top of it proves it as well.

Open PTO (which is rumored to be going away and not honored in sales)

Cons

-Very low pay compared to like industries. During their GTM restructure, they let go a number of employees, and then offered over 10k less than what they were making, to come back. TT CSMs make 40k/year, SMB CSMs make 45k/year, MM is 48k/yr. SMB AM's make 52k/year. -low visibility on reporting -no clear expectations, the line is always moving -messy process' -leadership lacks training to be able to lead effectively. -no upward movement or advancement. -Egress reps that came over are elite and the rest of us are just the sorry people.

Pros

I worked fully remote for my 3 years here in sales, although there's been a big push to get people back in the office. Overall, pretty good culture, although I think the wrong people are being given leadership positions which is making things much worse.

Cons

They've completely ruined the sales org. SMB base is 45k, I was promoted to mid market at 60k base which is lower than competitors, and if they want to be a leader in this space, they aren't paying people like it. 1 or 2 out of 30 sales people in mid market space hitting quota every month. Managers are directors talk about how bad things are weekly but after a year and a half, absolutely no change to help the sales people make more money. There are promotions and incentives to hand out bonuses that are unattainable. About 20/30 reps left and 2/4 managers left - it's just no longer a sustainable sales org. The leadership hasn't made any changes to help after a year and a half which is so confusing, they either want people to leave or don't know what to do to turn things around. I hope things turn around because it's a great product that really helps companies, and a lot of great employees, but I wouldn't recommend working in this sales org right now.
