Pros

Some truly amazing humans doing their best to make great work in not so great circumstances; decent benefits

Cons

After the merger and the birth of 'Known' leadership cared more about impressing the partners and awards and accolades than about actually doing good work, quality of life and workplace happiness for their employees. Everything is surface level and for optics only.

Pros

I'm a little shocked at some of the scathing reviews here - there are many great things about the company, and many not so great, so I'll try and be balanced. Brilliant people work here throughout the ranks. The culture among peers is very supportive and collegial, and you'll get to work on some very exciting projects (think big name clients, cool new product launches or campaigns, etc.). This is a great place to build the early part of a career and learn new skills, and you will be put in a position to shine early and often with senior leaders at interesting companies. It can also be very fun. Pre-COVID, the company ensured that great dinners and events were had when traveling, and made it easy and comfortable to do your job from the road. The offices are nice and well-stocked.

Cons

Pay isn't competitive for the lane that Known plays in once you progress in your career. Also, for some reason, as the company grows it has decided to adopt some of the less desirable parts of being a big company (more bureaucracy, etc.) while actually reducing things like good benefits that many big companies offer and/or improve upon once they grow. It's tough for people managers to push down these messages. Finally, loyalty is valued over performance. And don't get me wrong - performance definitely matters - but I was told that loyalty matters more. This could be a pro for some people, but listing it here for the senior candidates considering joining since it's not a meritocracy but instead probably more similar to running a political campaign.

Pros

The people were the life of this company (excluding the higher ups)

Cons

Too many changes and growing pains, rounds and rounds of layoffs
