CEO and Partners do not recognize the value of employees outside of ones directly making money. If you work in a corporate sect such as HR/IT that does not make money, they do not care about your compensation nor work/life balance. They do not understand it, so they believe it is a waste of money. Look elsewhere for an employer that cares.

Upon commencing my role, I was swiftly assigned 12-hour shifts daily to compensate for a displaced designer. As a result, I was unable to complete my onboarding tasks due to the substantial workload in the first month. The design requirements were unclear, necessitating numerous client meetings to elucidate the scope of work. Despite my efforts, the supervisor's expectation for a 30-minute completion timeframe did not align with the actual project magnitude. The work demands are incessant, and the prescribed deadlines are unattainable, leaving minimal time for breaks or concurrent meetings. The prevailing design approaches raise concerns about operational efficiency.
