Pros

Pay rate is above the going rate

Cons

I was so excited to work here. I had previous experience working for the vendors they service (Ashley Furniture Homstore) and I came to them well equipped for the position they hired me for. They talk the talk but they do not walk the walk. Every day was a contridiction. They insisted their culture model was to make Employees the priority but when it came down to it if there is an issue there is zero comunication, discussion, or defense for agents and employees. If they suspect they have a reason to fire you THEY WILL. Furthermore, they also bled through CEO's quickly. During my time there, 3 CEO's were filling the same spot over and over. A typical day seemed easy enough. Answer the phone and clock out. I worked here ten months and I watched as agents came and left with seemingly no notice with their leaving. That kind of group scrutiny widdles at your morale. And furthermore, ruins your self esteem. "Was I good enough this week?" "Who's next?" "When will they say it's my turn?" Were constant stresses and fears on my mind through my tenure. Additionally, the technology being used for the call center was horribly underwhelming. Computers and applications within the computer are not well prepared to handle the workloads required of them. for example. There is a VPN being used by the company that does not connect properly to household WIFI if the WIFI provider is cellular based. With 82% to 89% of US using Cellular Based Wifi like T-mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity. You can see how this does not make for a happy image. Because the VPN connection is consistently so unstable for much of the technology when working from home accurate data about worker productivity is reported inaccuratly. For lack of a better turn of phrase Employees are blamed for this inaccuracy. Causing for lower appearing productivity scores. If you're not productive they will assume it is your fault no questions asked and go straight into firing/Termination procedures. If you want a career this is the not the job for you. If you attempt to argue these points then youre seen as obstinate, argumentative, and lacking in character. To that end, that fuels the fire they were correct in their assement of your "Lack of Productitivty" Employees are treated like a number. Replacable, and fluid. They have no time for coaching, training, or appreciation of the workers under them. Applicants beware. If you work there presently and you're already finding yourself asking if your next, you probably are.
