Pros

Projects - good variety, tight deadlines but that's the reality of the industry. Lots of opportunities to learn. Good valuable feedback... Sometimes harsh but this is expected People - real friendly people from all offices. Peers within and outside of the design team are welcoming. One design lead is especially caring and goes out of her way to make sure her team delivers good work and that everyone is well taken care of. Good person to look to when CD is absent or busy Social - lots of team outings, games, drinks nights. Really embrace 'work hard play hard' idea Food - you will never go hungry or thirsty here

Cons

Working hours - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m for FT designers.. No 'summer hours.'.. Politics - occasionally project manager oversteps and rants about CD and managers when they are away... Unhealthy and creates too office drama, affects others and creates toxic environment On-boarding - hard to know how company works and learn way around teams... Start buddy system for new employees?

Pros

Free lunch for 2 days, although they are slowly phasing it out. Nice office, ping pong, pool table, and gaming room if ur into that. Lots of company socials if ur into that.

Cons

3 days a week in office. 9-5:30 working hours. Very little flexibility. Pay increases are small and only obtained through promotions. Below market pay for any level above entry level. Promotions are based on how much upper management likes you, culture fit, and tenure over actual performance. There’s a good chance you will be put on boring, tedious, non-programming work. Opportunity for learning and growth is highly dependent on what project you’re put on. If you don't constantly bug your manager about it you will mostly likely be stuck with the work no one wants to do. They hire lots of entry level developers, while more experienced developers leave in droves.
