Pros

Young coworkers who are very engaged and excited Excellent office A lot of after work drinks which are covered

Cons

So the only reason I decided to write this review 2 years after I left is because I saw a TikTok floating around boasting about how great this place is to work - yes it is a cool office and lots of free food + drinks, but at a huge cost. Konrad is built upon young associates/consultants doing the bulk of the work. The earliest you will leave is 7. Late hours are the norm, as is partying as a treat to make up for the long hours. It's not a treat, its a detriment to your mental health, however if you opt out of these social be prepared to be ostracized. They also were against WFH, which from what I understand from current friends - is still the case even in a post covid world. The development team is under staffed, and underpaid leading to poor work quality, high staff turn around and burnout - which affects all other areas of Konrad

Pros

I have made life long friends at Konrad Group, and it's a fantastic place to work if you are a social person. There are events for everyone, and all employees enjoy hanging out and helping one another. The work is super interesting - I have worked with multiple different lines of businesses and because of this, I have been exposed to unique problem spaces. I have felt very proud of the solutions we develop and every project comes with its own set of challenges. Personally, I thrive with the project shifts! You grow very quickly at KG - with that comes lots of time and effort, but overall highly rewarding.

Cons

Project timelines can be pretty tough... I think an overall con working agency is that some timelines will be challenging. Just based on my experience - teams outside of an organization are hired for two things.... 1) To deliver projects fast with quality or 2) To pickup a project a push it across the finish line. With that said, timelines are tricky because our clients need our help. It's not for everyone - but you grow quickly because of it. PTO is a combination of sick. mental health and vacation days. We get 20 days total - wish we could have more!
