Culture. Best described as white male fraternity. Drinking culture is strong, and apparently has been "toned down" in the past few years (???). But founders and VPs still ice each other at company retreats like they're 18. Golf is where the business (and line up for promotion) happens. Everyone in leadership are literally best friends from BEFORE the company started, try digging into their background and you'll realize nepotism is at play. Everyone else who's trying to get into the leadership ring are trying to be BFFs with more rounds of golf and shots.
Diversity. This is laughable. There is no diversity of thought considering everyone in upper management again came from the friend group or are becoming part of the same friend group. There is nothing wrong with managers forming intimate friendships, but if they have no intention let alone policies in enforcing diversity and inclusion, then there is a big problem. No ethnic diversity in upper management either other than one cofounder.
Salary.... is a joke. They undercut until you've proven your way up to become worthy of their recognition.
Management. Managers need training. Depending on the team that you're on you can be stuck with a manager who does not know how to run a team or gets ego-filled. Another department had managers getting a NEW junior hire running around interviewing people on faults and issues and did nothing with the 20-page deck that is presented (also, what???). This is not to say all managers are terrible, I was very lucky to be on a team that allowed for growth and proper mentorship.
HR. No, there's no HR. That alone is not as bad as how Konrad runs their psuedo HR who is run by friends. Is there someone who you can report issues to? Sure. Will you? heck no, it's the same hive mind.
Fake reviews. This is mentioned in several reviews and let me confirm, it's not "unhappy employees" claiming there's fake reviews written. I for one have heard confirmation from an employee who fabricate reviews that it is actually a practice that is done. Go figure.
