Pros

- Some colleagues are knowledgeable and friendly - Unlimited paid sick days - Provides certification benefits - Hybrid flexibility - Great entry level positions and experience to put on a resume

Cons

You will be overwhelmed with the workload and will NOT be fairly compensated. Bonuses are laughable and rare. Don't live in DC? You will be forced into the office and you will not be able to expense parking, metro costs or offered supplemental parking. Like your position? You better, because that's the same title you will have until you move on. Growth opportunities? Sure! Just don't expect it to be accompanied by a substantial raise or title movement. Attached to your coworkers? Don't be, turnover never stops. Hoping for team outings? Get comfortable with virtual happy hours where you supply the drinks. Managing Directors? Nutcases or misogynistic tyrants. Do not get stuck here. Companies in this area are offering great competitive pay compared to this one. Managing Directors are making 175K +

Pros

* Great opportunity to get experience in Fintech from a data perspective. * The Kroll Chief Data Officer is the only leader in the entire company that I have seen with a plan that goes longer than 3-months.

Cons

* Managers take credit for all of the technical work completed. * Some managers are not as technical as they should be. There have been several with 0 technical experience, which seems like a major miss. Honestly, how can you lead if you have no experience in the field that you are leading in? This is embarrassing. * I can name several managers who can't even tell me what an API or ETL Pipeline is; Let alone, write a single line of SQL code. It's incredibly frustrating when you really can't learn anything from a leader, and then they act like they know how to do your job better than you. * 0 Transparency over 2022, year. So many practitioners are on edge and many are looking for work elsewhere. * More keen on hiring an external consultant firm to tell them what to do than listen to their own people, who actually know the company. * Too much drama in between digital services and the IT side of the firm, with too many Managing Directors in Digital Services collecting checks than actual work getting done. * 0 long-term, meaningful projects. Leaders just want quick wins every quarter months. The CTO of digital services is a great example.

Pros

- Job stability within large company - Numerous types of clients to help expand your expertise

Cons

- Wages are lower than most of the competition - After a year or two, not much room for growth. You will be doing the same things over and over again - High turnover, you will be working on 30+ clients trying to keep them satisfied while management expects you to deliver everything in a timely manner
