Cons

Micromanagement from top to bottom Highly political atmosphere Results driven by management desires, not by actual results 70+ hours per week not unusual (No consideration to work-life balance)

Pros

training material and methods can be applied to other companies, I basically got an MBA for free, free travel size products when new products launch

Cons

minimal hours during non holiday season- typically only 1 person in the store is full time, low hourly pay, no encouragement to train- be a self motivator- few hours for associates, poor work life balance for salary employees
