Pros

The pros of working for Limited Brands were the relationships I built with my co-workers, the apparel and merchandise discounts at VS and Bath & Body, and the building cafes.

Cons

They characterize their culture as "high-performance", but their expectations sometimes outweigh the physically possible.

Pros

Great experience and you get to work with so many different people. I have had an amazing opportunity to work for Victoria's Secret!

Cons

This is a high stress job. You always need to be working quickly and doing your best. I don't know a retail company that isn't high stress though.

Pros

This company's compensation and the benefits (401k and medical) are outstanding. The company take cares of its people and more with many encouragement channels to give back to the community especially with its cancer research at the OSU and the James. There are many opportunities to learn and grow if you chooses to. Many people are very friendly (but you need to be friendly first) and is open to share what they know. If you ask, most will gladly to "onboard" you on what they do and teach it to you. That goes to say, only if you can handle your own work to start being curious about other's work which will enable you to gain more experience. As for promotion and growth. There are many opportunities but you need to put in the time and hard work. It doesn't come just because you have worked there for years. As a matter of fact, if you plan to grow with the company and move up, you must have a positive attitude with a super curiosity to learn, manage your own workload and to be able to inspire.

Cons

There are many "senior/seasoned" people that thinks they own the place. Their attitude could be checked for a better working relationship. Some things they are entitle to promotion or respect just because they have been there for a long time. Nevertheless, if you can get over those working relationship, the experience can be very fruitful.
