Pros

Employee discount at retail outlets. Cafe has healthy food choices. Starbucks is nice. Honestly there is not a lot of great reasons to work there. Certain managers tend to be more work - life balance oriented but it is not culturalized. There is a culture of fear. Speaking out or attempting innovation is not necessarily tolerated. A lot of good ideas get lost because groups don't work together, which is sad because there are a lot of talented, passionate people there. It seems to me like removing some of the more entrenched executives and rewarding innovation would make it a much better place to work.

Cons

Silo-like work environment. Communication is poor. The work environment does not allow for innovation. Decision making is far too high up the food chain. Lots of kingdom protecting going on. Processes supporting technology are far too rigid and inhibit real work getting done. Brand associates can be very intrenched in their way of doing things and are not open to innovation. Outdated processes are used because "it's the way we've always done it." At times it can feel like a popularity contest rather than a place of business. All in all, you can gain some good experience but you pay dearly for it.

Pros

Ability to make an impact for the company and learn from an industry leader. Lots of ownership of tasks and jobs, able to make job into what you will. Good Experience and looks great on the resume. Some departments are very laid back. Company allows for half day fridays over the summer.

Cons

Not very many full time opportunities available. Limited entry level positions available. Some employees tend to get overworked and there isn't always a fair distribution of the workload. Salaries also do not seem to start off very high for right out of college. Currently no bonus scale in place.

Pros

Excellent benefits and perks, great people with like minded goals, excellent brands on top of game in the industry. fast and fun and fabulous people. Very open minded, very gay friendly, very equal opportunity.

Cons

no work life balance at all. little to no top down communication. little regard for people's time away from work. Virtually no kind of work endorsed social interaction. Direction from senior management is often unclear and rarely trickles down to the people that execute directives.
