Pros

-Employee Resource Groups are a great benefit that help employees network internally and develop skills -Current "Unlimited" vacation and sick time is nice (might change with the merger) -Good work/life balance -Good pay

Cons

-Really poor management -HR doesn't have the resources it needs to be a competitive advantage for the company -High turnover rate -Direct managers are extremely hit or miss in terms of engagement

Pros

Lower level management and below employees are great! Flexibility for a decent work life balance

Cons

Their promotion system is the worst I’ve encountered. The company would rather hire outside the company then promote within. I have seen many people leave because the company refuses to be competitive with compensation unless you are a new hire. I’ve seen this job used as a stepping stone into the industry to get a security clearance more times than an employee looking to stay. Their HR and compensation team are location across the country and are completely out of touch with the market.

Good team, bad management

Pros

The teams in my division are fairly independent and nice to work on ("Unlimited" 160 hours max) PTO which at 4 weeks a year is a week better than most Products are fun to design A nice sense of ownership over the work you do and the team you work with

Cons

No matter the success of your products do not expect a bonus You may change course a five times a year due to poor road mapping by upper-management Don't ever expect to start a project with an appropriate budget or timeline 3% annual raise is the max even for a 5/5 star rated employee, promotions are very few and far between
