Pros

There is interesting work there, and many of the coworkers are very talented.

Cons

Management is the biggest issue, followed by how corporate treats its employees. Corporate has said repeatedly that we have had "an amazing year" and "record profits" and yet little to nothing has come down to the men and women that make it all happen every day. They especially target more senior employees by reducing our benefits to give to newer employees. That is a sad trend. They talk a good game about work/life balance by most of that is talk.

Pros

Gone with new management arrival.

Cons

Loyalty to your boss is a must. Talent, skills and performance does not matter.

Pros

Nice living near the beach. Work/life balance is good, but it depends largely on your project.

Cons

The way they do pay increases is not competitive with industry. We have awesome pay scales, but the reality is that most software engineers don't even meet midpoint of these ranges. Training is non existent for those who want to grow technically. I wish someone had told me this before I started here. Friends that I graduated with, that went to other companies, actually had technical growth with current industry technologies. Here there is zero, which really sets you back and makes it easier for them to retain you if you stay because you are no longer competitive in industry.

Thank you for your feedback. We have a pay for performance culture, and raises are determined based on the previous years' performance. Our employees are encouraged to seek out opportunities to develop themselves through new positions and experiences, and we make it as easy as possible with resources like the Career Framework. Additionally, we do offer technical training for our employees. We're sorry to hear that this has not been communicated to you. We encourage you to reach out to your manager, HR Business Partner, or your segment's Learning & Development lead to discuss training or developmental opportunities more in depth.
