Pros

Access to CEUs, good CEU repository, a lot of online resources.

Cons

Clinical director-level management ran off multiple good BTs while I worked there. This left me in a situation multiple times where families were upset because staff resigned or were let go while they and I were happy with their performance. There is enough BT turnover in this field generally that having management who made this situation worse was frustrating. I would not recommend being a BT at this company because based on my experience, being good at your job does not give you job security here. There was a good amount of BCBA turnover as well. Also, on the topic of bonuses, I did not receive a bonus I should have received for recruiting a staff member. Clinical Director-Level Management was aware I recruited the member and paperwork filled out by the member indicated I recruited them, yet the bonus was never delivered according to my records. The company advertises this bonus in recruiting and uses it as a pro for why you should work there which is why this is relevant.

Pros

Connection with parents and clients You get into knowing about the ABA field Decent money As a BT- no harsh consequences on calling out or last minute PTO With the coverage policy you can easily make up your hours MBAs & Coordinator is helpful - one is leaving though Simple follow through job once things are fully explained My BCBA is helpful In home parents are involved and educated

Cons

No incentives, EVER. Upper management has no clue who you are but they will gladly send you an email complaining about things but when they are in the building they don’t say hi and spend time with you or never come to support You never know what kind BCBA you’ll get- one that’ll supervise or one that never will Don’t ever complain of lack of support because they’ll hold it against you that you don’t know how to do your job Job responsibilities constantly change Coverage situation is ALWAYS a mess BCBAs/Cooridnator are burnt out so many are leaving
