      Pros

      LONG is by far the best place I have ever worked, and I plan on staying here for life. They treat both their customers and employees better than any company I have ever seen. It makes JCI-Controls and Siemens look like a joke. When they say they will complete a job they do. There is not a change order unless it is completely out of the scope which is hard to find these days when many companies make their margin through change orders.

      Cons

      The only room for improvement that I can think of is that there are several long time employees that are very stuck in their ways. Because of this many processes have become highly inefficient and thus net margins have gone down. A better avenue for efficiency improvement suggestions would be my only input.

      Pros

      You are allowed to do your job in the best way that you know how. No micro-management. A Prevailing Positive atmosphere with great Co-Workers. Genuinely concerned upper management. Great benefits. Tons of industry experience throughout the company. Forward thinking.

      If I can think of something I will put something in this box but I have no complaints.

      Pros

      Certainly if you know someone higher up, or if you are related to someone, you can do just about anything you want. But if you are not related, do not bring up that you are held to a higher expectation, or the good old boys club will distribute the information, and the father will do what they can to sour your reputation.

      Cons

      It's a lot like high school. If you don't get into a clique, people will say pretty much anything they want about you, and without you doing, or saying anything, any possibility of moving into a new department are quickly extinguished.
