Pros

The first 15 or so years, excellent management and focus on core products. Most all products were made in the US of A.

Cons

Last 3 or so years, lost their upper management and focus; hired too many new folks who all were supposed experts, and now offer a willy-nilly product line of mostly buy-outs.

Pros

The work is easy, the office is usually empty.

Cons

Management is clueless, technology is grossly outdated, office environment is hideous. There is no teamwork, information is kept secret by senior level employees so that they are the only ones who can properly perform their job duties... even though they perform them very poorly. There is absolutely no lack of vision or defined goals for employees. Management is willing to waste thousands of dollars on new furniture for the CEO's office and then fire long term employees to make up the cost. It's really embarrassing to work for LSI.

Pros

-Great health benefits -Ability to move up in the company -Great coworkers -Flexible work environment

Cons

While there are some serious pros for working for this company, there are also a few cons. While they are a flexible company to work for, they are stuck in the past and tend to think of the company in the old school mentality. They are falling behind on a corporate culture that would draw in a new type of employee, leaving them stuck with an older workforce. Also most of the employees are very negative and are a downer to be around, though there are some that are great and I have grown to really like.
