Pros

There are a few good managers, good luck keeping them.

Cons

Don't try to go above and beyond, it won't get you anywhere. Somehow we are all supposed to tolerate childish behavior from grown men and women here. It's appalling. There is significant nepotism here, yes they will say that there isn't but...it's very obvious. I've seen bad employee habits get brushed under the rug so much. People at the SF building love to stir up the drama, that makes for very toxic work culture. HR at the SF building has their hands dipped in everyone's pots. We do not follow our own process, I don't think we ever will. It's always NOW, no matter how difficult or what obstacles. If the founders want it they get it.

Pros

Fair salary for sales people Good backend systems and equipment

Cons

Comp plan is completely unattainable (2024) Leadership talks a big game, but I am not convinced they can back it up Corrupt in-office politics. Be aware if you plan to work remotely. You will be at a distinct disadvantage There is a lot of talk about culture, but upper management and leadership do not exemplify these values.

Pros

-Depending on your team leadership, you will either love/hate coming to work. It’s not very consistent across all teams unfortunately. —Most lower management seem to care about their employees, but can/will do little when it comes to giving raises. -they emphasize employees learning and gaining a lot of experience (certifications, trainings in dif software, etc) which you can put on your resume, making yourself more marketable when you do leave.

Cons

-Poor communication from middle management to upper management. -Very poor family leave policies despite their claim of being a “family-friendly” place to work (2 weeks of maternity leave) -No raises, and if you bring one up at your annual performance review they act a little annoyed you’d even ask -HR will threaten you into signing an NDA that promises you won’t speak poorly of them when you’re let go…leaves a bad taste in the mouth IMO -Seems like most of the veterans there are just holding out for their stock options to vest/the company to go public, but that seems to be the only thing holding them there. The stock options program is discussed at length in company meetings, but when it comes to annual raises, don’t ask.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I joined the company recently, and one of my top priorities is making sure that everyone at LVT has a consistent, positive experience, no matter what team they’re on. We’re also moving quickly to reevaluate our total rewards programs, including raises and promotions, to ensure they’re fair and competitive. Additionally, we’re doubling down on clear, timely communication so that everyone has the information they need to feel supported and aligned with our goals. Will Clive CHRO
