Pros

I was drawn to LVT for many reasons... great products & solutions being among them. My biggest reasons, however, for wanting to work for LVT were the company values and mission. They resonate strongly with me and our Leadership team has proven time and time again that they also place a high value on these and really try to run the company accordingly. I appreciate the many difficult decisions that have had to be made over the past few years to remain true to these values. And who wouldn't want to work for a company that is contributing to making our communities safer and more secure! The company has grown a lot over the past few years and the benefits and pay offered have become very competitive. In addition, we continue to gain top-notch leaders who I'm proud to work for. It's an exciting time of growth and change and I can honestly say I love my job, I love the company I work for, and I love the people I work with!

Cons

We are still growing at a fast pace and with that growth comes challenges which are typical in fast-growing companies.

Pros

- A company hungry to succeed - Lots of autonomy - Great benefits and PTO - Stable company with a long history of success - Hiring in an otherwise weak market - Potential for growth is great

Cons

- Has had a bad history of taking employees for granted, although this is being remedied - Engineering had bad leadership and it took a long time to fix, this however is a risk since there is no CTO and that person could change how much the engineers like being here - Like most companies the execs are pretty far removed from the reality that the employees face. - Equity packages are meh and the strike price is relatively high for what they expect to go to market at. Also whatever your equity is when hired is basically all you should plan to get ever.

Pros

There's a lot to do, and in my experience, people will support you in getting it done. There's massive opportunity for the company to grow and I'm confident that LVT has a bright future. If you're a driven person, there's no limit to what you can accomplish right now. LVT is actively addressing points of employee frustration. Nobody at LVT is OK with letting problems persist. I joined a year and a half ago and things are so much better now than they were back then that it's barely recognizable. I'm excited about what the next 18 months hold at LVT!

Cons

The senior leadership seems to change direction pretty frequently without explanation, which can make it hard to hit a moving target. BUT, with the new president (Chris Beckstead) coming on board, I'm optimistic that things will improve quickly. Because of the rapid growth over the last couple of years in headcount, the cross-team collaboration is still pretty nascent. Most of us joined in the last year and we're all still learning how to work together. But it's getting better every day.
