Pros

Great executive team that really care about our employees. We all have equity so we're all owners which is really cool. People are top notch and our company is growing like crazy in revenue and in people.

Cons

Not as flashy as most other tech companies around the area but it's ok because if our equity does as well as we're expecting, I don't need the extra treats. Also, we need to get a 401(k).

Pros

The product is incredible and makes a huge positive impact on customers' lives. The company is growing tremendously and so everyone has a chance to make their mark on this great product.

Cons

The pro is also a con in this case - the large growth also means lots of growing pains. Every department has a lot of maturing to do, and everyone needs to start shifting into the mindset where they look for bad processes, not bad people. There are also many avenues we could be chasing, and instead of narrowing on the most important ones, we often start chasing them all and wind up with very unfocused efforts leading to unfocused results.
