Great kids and families, Fun activities for the kids, Some staff kind and welcoming

Cons

Mgmt did not enforce sick child policies, Contracted the stomach flu and strep throat while employed here. Work place bullying, Lack of working air conditioning, septic issues, over crowded classrooms.

Great parents, decent paid time off for full time

Cons

Management is a joke. They have no concerns for the well being of the teachers, or the kids for that matter. They are about cramming as many kids in for profit, despite what it does to the quality of care and education. There are blatant issues of favoritism. Constant promises of resolutions to work isssues that will never be fulfilled.

Pros

Rewarding job and making a difference in children's lives, directors are nice and will work with you on scheduling. Teachers can be creative and implement their own ideas into the curriculum.

Cons

Gossip. Low pay, job is physically demanding. Constant turn around with teachers (because of low pay). It is extremely hard to stick to a curriculum (even if you plan one) because they are always short staffed and you can be yanked from your room to cover other teachers on their break or ratios in the classrooms become to high. I absolutely love teaching, but I feel I cannot do my job properly or to the best of my ability when I am yanked from my room in the middle of a project or teaching a lesson, to cover the other classes.
