Only thing going for it is pay

Pros

Only pro is the pay. Pay range is $18-$22. BOH also gets 1% of sales in gratuity.

Cons

Hard to move up. A lot of favoritism. Hire based on “personality” a lot rather than experience and it shows. Not truly authentic. Scheduling inconsistencies, even when full time. Hours based on performance, but they give hours to those undeserving because they’re “friends” rather than those who give all their effort. Onboarding advertised a completely different culture and vibe than it ended up being. Management is rude. GM is aggressive.

Might be a good second job.

Cons

Never get shifts. Rude managers. No room to grow. The favorite servers get everything they want and the rest of us are just trying to survive on scraps. Food is expensive even with our discount.
