Business Outlook
Pros
The company provided a in depth two week training period in which I sat with all departments, toured multiple facilities, even shadowed different ships, and rode on a delivery route. Additional training was provided in the form of a mentorship preparing me for the position. Salary and benefits were competitive for the position as well.
Cons
Despite the orientation and assigned mentor there is a lot to learn and formal training does not exist, it is all hands on and on the fly. No vacation for the first year is difficult to get over at first.
