Good employee prices on nearly outdated cheese.

Cons

Most uncaring and unprofessional company I have every worked for. HR, CFO & Director of Accounting have free reign to grossly mistreat employees while VERY WEAK French ownership encourages employee abuse. Turnover is rampant and new employees quickly regret their decision to work at Lactalis; and realize that they have been misled about the company culture during the interview process. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT SO MANY OTHERS HAVE, AND HAVE COME TO REGRET.

Great Team but top management is a problem

Nampa employees: a great team of experienced people on the floor Somehow learning what not to do in an industry Benefits

Cons

Lack of trust from management - top management doesn't accept ideas other than theirs - a lot of decisions have been made by them that led this company to disaster/dangerous situations in some departments... High stress environment, no positive feedback even after long hours and weekends spent at the plant to get extra work done. Personal life needs to be put on hold for the plant. Unrealistic expectations (if the last 5 managers of a department did not reach these expectations then start wondering why instead of assuming it is due to laziness).

- Big Organization - Set Higher Standards - Opportunity to Learn

Cons

- French Management with no respect to locals - Work Culture is very discouraging - I felt like - "No News Good News" scenario, where the management will only get interest to talk to you when you do something wrong and do not care to appreciate your hard work.
