Pros

Flexible hours, health/401k benefits even for part-time work, employee discounts on clothing and a free $75 clothing allowance when you first start, most customers that shop here appear to be nicer than other places I've worked.

Cons

Some managers were rude, but that can happen anywhere.

Started great, ended poorly

Pros

My experience with the company started out fantastic. I was working with a great team of talented people that were equally as excited to come to work. My manager was very supportive of my career goals and gave great feedback and I was promoted within a year of working there. Additional pluses: on-sight cafeteria, gym, coffee bar, and daycare

Cons

Lands' End has recently taken a turn for the worse. It is owned by Sears, need I say more? With the downturn of Sears, the parent company is forcing Lands' End to make promotional decisions that are better for Sears finances in the short term, but hurt Lands' Ends image in long term. Employee turnover has seriously increased over the past 3 years and the employees that remain with the company are strapped with an unmanageable workload, and without any additional compensation or title change. Additional minus: located in Dodgeville, WI, an hour from the capital, Madison, WI.
