Pros
Great interview process and timely in responding to questions about interviewing and hiring. After being hired, the list of cons continue to grow. Great group of staff, VERY supportive environment and invested in their workers' well-being, health and productivity. Yes, it is government, but if you put your heart into it, you get the same and more out of it. I've found EXACTLY what I'm looking for!
Cons
You may run into weirdo people, but that comes with any job. Longer hours may affect your family life, but if you land in the right department, you get (you guessed it) MORE benefits for the overtime and extra efforts. Again, because it's government, you need to go through chain of command and the amount of paper wasted can be concerning.
