Pros

Plenty of opportunity and plenty of money to be made if you know how to hustle! You get free treatments and you get huge discounts on treatments! You get to dress up every day and make people feel more beautiful and have so much fun doing it!

Cons

You have to work weekends, but those are big money days!

Our Patient Care Coordinator roles are designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting and enjoy building confidence and positive experiences for clients. The flexibility to earn, grow, and build valuable sales and customer experience skills is an important part of the role. Pros

Get trained in aesthetic treatments…then GET OUT and go work somewhere that values patients and fosters a healthy work environment.

Cons

Never worked in a more toxic work place. I worked with over 12 (it only takes 5 to run a clinic) different employees (nurses and patient care coordinators) because clinicians and front desk workers got burnt out. I’ve worked in large hospitals and small clinics such as LaserAway and I have never felt more bullied and defeated by staff. Constantly changing role requirements without updated contracts. Nurses priority in this role is unfortunately not doing what treatment is best for the patient, but to fulfill a sale when the PCCs have milked whatever money out of the poor patients pocket on a treatment they don’t need. If you educate the patient on a different treatment that could benefit them, it has to be of higher or equal sale so that LaserAway can profit as much as possible. It’s a great business plan, but I went into nursing to help people feel their best. Not to put more money into companies pockets.
