Pros

Not a good company to work for.

Cons

Mean girls and you will be cold calling all day to numbers that are most likely fake. If you are new you will not make money here.

Pros

Aesthetics is a highly competitive field, especially in Southern California. This is a great company to get your foot in the door. They prefer to hire people with no experience in aesthetics and will train you on all treatments. You do not have to pay for certifications! Within the first year you will be trained on all treatments. They are now training new hires on Botox within the first 2 months. Get your training at LA and then go to a nicer clinic where you can learn more advanced treatments. This is a great option for nurses looking to leave the hospital and take on a simpler role. The work life balance is great.

Cons

This is a profit over patients establishment that prioritizes the sales team. The schedule will be overbooked, and you will be given conflicting rhetoric around patient care. The medical team will tell you to prioritize patient safety and to not rush through treatments. The sales team will tell you to be quicker and will interrupt your breaks to tell you that you have a patient waiting. While the work is much easier than in the hospital, the disconnect between sales and medical leads to unnecessary stress. Double and triple bookings are a daily occurrence. Most nurses last between 6 months to two years. You get a 3% raise every year, which is ridiculous considering how much money the more experienced nurses make the company. You are not rewarded for performing more complex treatments.
