Pros

Good benefits and focus on work life balance. They always encourage training and uphold a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Cons

Salaries seem significantly below market average and there is an impression of smoke and mirrors between employees and management. It can be difficult to move up through the ranks or migrate between roles, and there is an understanding that it can be very difficult to renegotiate salaries or boost salaries significantly with promotions (comes with a more rules/regulatory approach to compensation rather than merit based)

Pros

At Ledcor I was given the opportunity to learn a variety of skills. I learned how to use estimating programs and how to communicate with trades to help them during the tender process. In addition, all the employees here at Ledcor were always willing to help.

Cons

There are not many downsides of working at Ledcor. The only one downside that I can think of is the fact that I did not have access to all the work websites because I was a summer student.

Pros

One of pros for working at Ledcor was the real life experience I gained from working in a module yard. Not only did I learn more about my discipline but I was also introduced to other fields of study. Piping, Mechanical, structural, instrumentation and more. This taught me that communication between people and profession is the key to succeeding and meeting deadlines.

Cons

The only negative experience I had with ledcor was a minor one. In my position, upon marking up drawings, I have to identify that I made a change to a drawing so people know its done and the work does not get done twice. The issue is 3 of us had to share the same login, where only one person could be online at a time. This cause a lot of frustrations and delayed us.
