Long hours, poor pay, no weekends, stat holidays off. The office staff get a 2 week paid time off at Christmas while the front line staff are forced to work Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years. More interested is covering the companies bottom line than the well being of the workers it seems.

They make promises like long term work and a trade, finished with previous employer which is a job I should have kept in hindsight, to work for them. Then the foreman fires you after 1 day of orientation and 2 hours work so a buddy can get a job. They won't tell you why you're fired but if you pay attention and listen to what the other long term workers are saying you know its because of the whole friend and family system. If you are brand new to the union and don't know a single person, then watch out. Nothing but broken promises and financial burden thanks to them.
