Pros

Severn immunity is a plus as there is no malpractice. CME money was very generous as well as the vacation time

Cons

They are not very physician friendly at all. They appear to value mid level providers much more. As a physician you are merely a provider.

Pros

You get a discount in the gift shop and on the cafeteria food which will just give you diarrhea anyway.

Cons

Everything. Management is the "good ol boy" system. They live by micromanaging, middle managers doing things a certain way because "that's they way it's always been done". They discourage employees from being innovative with workflow.

We're sorry to hear you did not have a good experience in the time you worked at Lee Health. Perhaps your manager did not take advantage of the leadership courses available at Lee Health. In fact, in the last decade Lee Health has invested in an entire department of Lean Transformation Specialists that work with department staff to improve processes/workflow, reduce waste and improve patient and employee satisfaction. We appreciate your candid review and wish you the best.

Pros

Good job if you are support staff or in nurse management, also they draw a lot of quality medical talent to the area.

Cons

I have found that with the exception of ER providers and surgical specialties that require hospital setting, most providers are sold one job and then over burdened with documentation, ending with hours of computer work after hours with their expectation for it to be done on your time. If they "let go" (fire) your supervising doctor you will soon follow, your salary stream is supplied thru their collections. You can see that they only hire very high quality providers but the system is flawed. This is clearly reflected in the one star patient satisfaction ratings.
