Pros

The pay isn’t too bad

Cons

Insurance is expensive and can only use Lee Health doctors/facilities. I was asked to arrive before my shift, set up the clinic for the day and was told I couldn’t clock in to do the work. Office manager was never there because she was always running personal errands.

Pros

It’s the biggest hospital system is SWFL and has the most support staff/equipment. They try to hire from within their system so once employed you have a decent amount of job options. They offer decent benefits and may pay for school in exchange for a work agreement.

Cons

Staff is under paid compared to the rest of the country. There’s no competition in the area so they have no reason to increase pay. I’ve seen them let go of nurses with 15+years of experience to hire new grads and save money.
